Minnie Pearl O’Neill nee Kelloway May 18 1932 to April 30 2020

A Mother is always with us, first in her lifetime then forever in our memories.
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital our beautiful mother and matriarch Minnie Pearl O’Neill (Kelloway) – St. John’s NL, May 18 1932 – April 29, 2020.
Predeceased by her husband Bernard (1992), siblings Ada, Ollie, Tom, George and parents Joseph and Myrtle Kelloway.
Leaving to mourn are her children Terry, Chris (Terri), Elaine (Peter) Hatcher, Bernard Francis (Stephanie), Tim (Tanya), Michael (Brenda) her 11 grandchildren Jordan, Riley, Morgan, Holly, Dawson, Terri-Lynn, Ashley, Kyla, Rory, Kelsey, Chase and one great grandchild Jackson. She is also survived by her sister Ruth Slade and a large circle of relatives and friends and wonderful caregivers.
She grew up on Bell Island and moved to St. John’s in 1954 to work when she met her husband and started a family, being a mother was her greatest joy as family meant everything to her.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. If you would like to attend please contact the family. Interment to follow in the Field of Honor at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 1
