GOEHRING Dieter —

GOEHRING, Dieter

Dieter passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at the age of 89. He is predeceased by his wife Gerda and his sister Ingeborg Filipucci (Florida). Dieter is survived by his sisters Gertrude Sangwine (Toronto, ON), Hannelore Goehring (Guatemala City, GT) and brothers, Gunter Goehring (Rottweil, DE) and Hans Goehring (Phoenix, AZ) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. After selling the business, they moved to a farm in Caledon East where Dieter was instrumental in building a new church in Mono Mills. In 1992 Dieter and Gerda moved to Kelowna to escape the harsh winters. Dieter was known for his beautiful paintings, wise counsel and commitment to his Lord, through participation in the family of faith at First Lutheran Church. He was much loved and will be missed by many. Private Interment will take place at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery and a Memorial Service will take place at FLC when current public restrictions cease. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Lutheran Church, www.firstlutheran.ca, Willowstone Academy, www.willowstoneacademy.com, Canadian Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.ca, or a charity of your choice.
