November 27, 1921 – April 30, 2020
Passed peacefully away at her home on Thursday, April 30, 2020, her wishes fulfilled, Maisie Woodman of New Harbour, aged 98 years.
Predeceased by her husband, Fred; parents, Sarah and Thomas Thorne; sisters, Violet Reid and Katie Piercey; brother, Charles George; and son-in-law, Albert Williams.
Leaving to mourn with loving and precious memories are daughter, Pamela; sons, Bub (Raechel), Philip (Christine), Reg (Marlene), and Randy; grandchildren, Michael, Joni, Pamela, Ryan, Josh, Trevor, Adam, Aaron, Brandon, Sarah, and Nathan; great-grandchildren, Autumn, Kate, Duncan, Thomas, Maisie, Lola, Josie, and one more on the way; special friends, Shirley Woodman, Shirley Brown, and Carol Hart; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Maisie was a dedicated member of the ACW and spent many years devoted to the Anglican Church, New Harbour. She was an avid gardener and had a great love for all animals. She will be missed.
Special thanks to the staff of Shag Rock Manor and Circle of Care both of whom provided exceptional care.
Due to restrictions in place because of Covid-19, there will be a private family burial.
As an expression of sympathy, donations in Maisie’s memory may be made to the SPCA (spcanl.com).
