On April 26, 2020 Nellie passed away peacefully at the age of 87 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Loving wife of Danilo for 66 years, mother to Joanne (Vince) Di Carlo, Larry (Ginette) Masaro and Lynn Masaro (the late Kevan O’Connor). Grandmother to Thomas, Michael (Enny) and Paul (Andrea) Di Carlo and Mathieu Masaro. Great grandmother to Sterling, Daniel and Camila. She will be greatly missed by her sisters Mary (Charles) Gazzola and Lina (Greg) Peddie, sister-in-law Maria (the late Aldo) Masaro, many nieces, nephews and numerous friends and relatives. Born in San Martino al Tagliamento, Italy, on November 5, 1932, Nellie spent her younger years in Timmins, Ontario until marrying Danny and moving to Cooksville.
A private service will be held for family, with a Celebration of Life to be arranged when we are able to gather again.
If desired, donations in her memory may be made to Trillium Health Partners – Mississauga Hospital.
