Leola Barbara (Mullin) Johnston wife of Donald Johnston passed away suddenly surrounded by family and friends at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at the age of 84. Knitting was a strong passion for Leola and she knit hundreds of dishcloths to share with family and friends. Many homes and Christmas trees are adorned with the many crafts and ornaments that she made over the years and her handiworks have become treasures to enjoy. She spent countless hours doing crossword puzzles and could master even the most difficult ones. Leola especially loved going to church on Sunday mornings and participating in the UCW.
