Lewis’ Obituary
WILLIAMS, Lewis Glen – 94 East Green Harbour. The Williams family would like to announce that their Dad is now in the loving arms of Jesus. Lewis was a son of the late Winslow and Jennie (Burke) Williams. He was a loving husband, father, and his grandchildren were the apple of his eye, and in return they thought he walked on water. Lewis loved the Toronto Blue Jays, hunting, camping, puzzles, playing cards, marbles and of course singing and playing music. He was a great cook who always put on a big Sunday dinner and no one left his house hungry. Lewis was also able to fix any small engine he came across.
He is survived by Son Wayne (Phyllis) Williams; daughters; Shirley (Irving) Woodworth, Jennie (James) Himmelman, Linda (Cliff) Bangham, Patricia Prevost, Molly (Roy) Himmelman, Darlene (Del) MacIntosh, Sherry (Jeff) Peters; Julie (Peter) Fenton, Wanda (Alan) Doucette, brother Percy Williams, eighteen grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife,Thelma Margaret (Firth); a son, Baby Lewis, brothers; Aubrey Williams and Kit Williams; sisters; Nora Dechamp, Pauline Buchanan and Daisy Buchanan, grandchildren; Charlie Slate, Baby Troy and Baby Samantha.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions a private graveside service will be held A Memorial service will be announced as soon as the times allow for groups to meet again.
