Evelyn Pears
1937 – 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Evelyn Pears, beloved wife of Fred Pears. Evelyn peacefully passed while in the comfort of her home on Sunday, April 19, 2020, at the age of 83 years. Besides her husband, Fred, she leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dan Pears, Cathy (Dan) West and Terry (Debbie) Pears; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister, Doreen and brother, Gordon. Evelyn was predeceased by her father, Clarence; mother, Marvel; sisters, Yvonne, Jean and Bernice; brothers, Allan and Kenny. Evelyn was born April 14, 1937 in Stonewall, Manitoba where she was raised and eventually met Fred. They moved to Winnipeg to start a life together, then Calgary and eventually Medicine Hat. Revelations 21:4 states, “He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away.” We hold out for the hope that we will one day see mom again to hold her hand and laugh with her. Until then we will miss her dearly. Evelyn’s life will be honoured and remembered with a time of visitation for family without the proceedings of a formal funeral service. Columbarium placement will take place at Hillside Cemetery.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Evelyn Pears 1937 2020..
