Obituary

Betty was born on December 22nd, 1928 in Swift Current, Sask. and passed away the morning of December 20th, 2019.
She was a long-standing member of the Ladies Auxiliary with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #24. During her years of service, she was awarded the Meritorious Service Award.
She had a gentle, kind, and caring soul and cherished family time more than anything. She loved animals, going to Bingo, gardening, theme park rides, singing, dancing, puzzles and cards, her “shows”, camping, and of course, had a sweet tooth–she loved her treats!
She is predeceased by her first husband-Ernest Wiznowich, 2nd partner-Melville McDonald, Daughter- Delphine Lepine Wiznowich, Son-Daniel Wiznowich, Grandson-Josshua Wiznowich, and Great Granddaughter -Valkyrie McDonald. As well as her parents and siblings.
She is survived by her Daughter -Diane Burger, Daughter- Tammy McDonald (Cory), and Son -Doug Wiznowich (Bonnie). As well as many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, January 11th from 1:00-3:00pm at the Girl Guide Hall in Cranbrook, 1421 2nd Street South.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke foundation.
