1959-2019
Wayne Toner of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away unexpectedly at his home
on December 12, 2019.
Wayne was born in Plaster Rock, NB, on May 12, 1959. He was the son of
Patricia (Wright) Smith and the late Hubert Toner. Besides his mother
and his step-father, Greg Smith, who live in Perth-Andover, NB, Wayne
leaves behind his loving wife, Deborah Colbourne-Toner; his daughters,
Shyla Toner (fiancé Shane Chase) of St. Almo, NB, Kelsey Toner of
Fredericton, NB; his granddaughter, Sophia Chase; his sister, Laurie
Ann Greer (Stephen) of Odell, NB; his brothers, Timothy Toner (Joan)
of Odell, NB, Ronald Toner (Darla) of Odell, NB, and Scott Toner
(Tracey) of Athabasca, AB; along with many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed watching and playing many
sports. Among his favorites were baseball, hockey, and golf. Wayne was
also very proud to be from Odell.
A Celebration of Life honoring Wayne will be held at the Plaster Rock
Royal Canadian Legion on Monday, December 16, 2019 from 4-6 pm. The
family wishes that you wear a jersey of your favorite sports team at
the celebration.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Victoria County SPCA or
to a local charity of your choice would be appreciated by the
family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
