HOLDEN, Mrs. Vera (nee Downes)
At St. Joseph’s at Fleming on Sunday, December, 8, 2019 at the age of 104. Predeceased by her husband Arnold “Mel” Holden. Loving mother of Carole Tully and her husband Jim, Allan Holden and his wife Eileen, and Marilyn Coward and her husband Jim. Vera will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Ruby Amundsen, Walter Downes and the late Stanley Downes . There will be a Celebration of Vera’s Life held at the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE 2510 Bensfort Rd., Peterborough on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Reverend Lyle Horn officiating. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Highland Park Reception Centre. In memory of Vera, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
