It is with broken hearts that the
family of the late SARAH ABBOTT of Harbour Mille announces
her passing. Sarah passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care
Center in Burin on Wednesday, December 11th,
2019 at the age of 82. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of
wonderful memories are her husband Albert of 63 years; sons, William
James “Jim” (Loretta) of Little Harbour East, and Merriel
Abbott (Sue Nelson) of Little Bay East; daughter, Pauline Baker
(Barry) of Little Harbour East; 6 grandchildren, Corey (Leslie) Abbott
of Fort McMurray, Gregory Abbott (Jessica Kenway) of Fort McMurray,
Perry Abbott (Courtney) of Fort McMurray, Lindsay Abbott (Bradley
Symes) of Fort McMurray, Anthony Abbott (Jacqueline Hodder) of St.
Bernard’s, and Nathan Baker (Jessica Pardy) of Little
Harbour East; great-grandchildren, Faythe, Megan, Luke, Emma, Georgia,
and Brock; brothers, William Wells (Lucy) of Harbour Brenton, Reg
Dodge (Nora) of Rushoon, Jerry Dodge of Marystown; sisters, Betty
Herridge (Gordon) of Fortune, Bernice Miller of Grand Bank, Vida
Benoite (Sidney) of Burgeo, Charity Benoite (Philip) of Burgeo, Martha
Saunders (Sam) of Brookside, Sue Couture (Jean) of Nova Scotia, and
Diane Donaldson (Will) of Codroy Valley; brother-in-law, Cecil Barnes
of Ontario; sister-in-law, Margaret Pardy of Harbour Mille;
plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. Sarah was predeceased by her father, Reginald
Wells; her mother, Laura Wells-Dodge; parents-in-law, James and Violet
Abbott; step-father, William Dodge; sister-in-law, Francis Barnes; and
brother-in-law, Merriel

The Abbott Family will be accepting
visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Marystown on Friday,
December 13th from 2-5pm.
Funeral Service will take place at St. Mary’s
Anglican Church in Harbour Mille on Monday, December
16th at 2pm.
