Sandy Marcaccio, of St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly, at Stratford General Hospital surrounded by family on November 29th, 2019 at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of Bonnie (Forbes) married for 31 years. Loving father of Carl (Kim), Rick (deceased). Grandfather of Alyssa, Scott and Liam. Brother-in-law of Bianca Marcaccio, Joan and Conrad George, Ruth and Art Lonsbary. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, their families and loyal friends. Predeceased by his parents Mike and Mima, siblings Onelia Cifa (Gianni), Clara Manzini (Gino), Claudio.
Sandy was the long-time owner of Sandy’s TV & Appliances, a member of the Thames Valley Central Model Railroad Club, but his true passion was Soccer. As a player, coach, referee and manager he dedicated many years to youth soccer in St. Marys and the Stratford Old-timers.
Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements are not yet finalized at this time.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the Stratford Soccer Association or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation.
