It is with great sadness that the
family of the late RUSSELL
HERRIDGE of Grand Bank announce
his passing at his residence in Grand Bank on Thursday, December 12,
2019, at the age of 83. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are wife Cora of 60 years; sons, Claude (Daphne) of
Grand Bank, Douglas (Janet) of Grand Bank, Wade (Roxanne) of St.
John’s, Paul (Angela Blackwood) of Grand Bank; daughters,
Barbara Herridge (Robert Anstey) of Grand Bank, Debbie Herridge
(Daniel Hillier) of Fortune; sisters, Eva Bolger, Mary Ann Cumby,
Doris Pittman, Margaret Saint, Marcella Saint (Ronnie); brother,
Edward (Ivy); 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; plus a large
circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by his
parents, Thomas & Elvina Herridge; brothers, Cyril Herridge,
Arthur Herridge; 2 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marilyn
Herridge; brothers-in-law, Harold Bolger, Russell Pittman, Charles
Saint
The Herridge Family will be accepting
visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home in Grand Bank on Friday,
December 13th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm & 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A
private funeral service will be held and Interment to follow at the
St. Alban’s Anglican Church
Cemetery.
In
Russell’s memory, donations may be made to the
Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre Dialysis Unit or flowers gratefully
accepted.
