With heavy hearts the family wishes to announce the passing of Ross Christopher Madsen, of Wauchope, Sask. He went to sleep in heavenly peace on December 24, 2019 at the Regina General Hospital at the age of 87.
Ross will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years Lorraine; children: Gary (Jody) Madsen, Leanne Madsen and Deborah (Todd) Rose; grandchildren: Ashley (Trevor) Zell, Carter (Kristyn) Madsen, Logan Madsen, Carmen Madsen, Jorgen (Rachel) Rose, Brian Rose & Jenna Blunt, and Lane Rose; siblings: Elaine (Edward) Kennedy, Betty (Norm) Lee and Lynn (Yolande) Madsen; in-laws: Ferne (Wayne) Smith, Rosemarie Rudichuck and Brian Krienke; his many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours.
Ross was predeceased by his parents: Harold and Alida (Jacobi) Madsen; siblings: Avalene Purvis and Harold Junior Madsen; mother and father-in-law: Gladys and Norman Krienke; sister-in-law Carol Hertz; brother-in-law Howard Purvis, and great nephew Nico Hawryliw.
A service to celebrate Ross’ life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Redvers, Sask. with The Rev. Michelle Moore officiating. Interment will take place at Dannevirke Lutheran Cemetery, Redvers.
If friends so desire, donations in Ross’ memory may be made to the Redvers & District Community Health Foundation Inc., Box 766, Redvers, Sask., S0C 2H0 or the Redvers & District Recreation Centre, Box 367, Redvers, Sask., S0C 2H0.
