Kurjata, Rose Marie (nee Rolheiser)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Rose Marie Kurjata announces her peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the age of 93 years.
She leaves her loving husband of 69 years: Victor; her three children: Marian (Lee) Innis, Sheila, Donald (Ann); four grandsons: Ryan (Rebecca) Innis, Aidon, Grayson, and Teagan Kurjata; and one precious great grand-daughter; Adelyn Rose Innis.
She was predeceased by her parents: Anton and Frances Rolheiser; and her siblings: George (Marie), Mary (Wilfred) Wagner, Millie (Lex) Herman, Jake (Anne), John (Emma), Con (Marj), Peter (Agnes), Paul (Eva), Betty (Paul) Salembier, and Edward.
She was also predeceased by Victor’s parents: Paul and Honorata Kurjata; his siblings: Stan (Bertha), George (Madeline), Jack Thomsen, Sophie (Ray) Obrocki, Rosaire Etcheverry, Florence (Dan) Risling; and infant: Edward.
Rose is survived by in-laws: Dee Rolheiser, Lil and Lambert Wourms, Joanne Thomsen, Helen Etcheverry, and Ted and Lena Kurjata, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Cremation has taken place and details for the funeral service will be announced early in January 2020.
Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff on Station 51 at the Grey Nuns Hospital for their care and compassion, it was truly appreciated.
