Roger’s Obituary
Roger Hubert Gaucher, formerly of the Three Creeks (AB) area, passed away in Edmonton (AB), on November 17, 2019, at 68 years of age. Roger was born to Hubert & Delia Gaucher in McLennan (AB), on October 4, 1951.
Roger retired from ATCO Gas in 2016; he had been a distribution operator field foreman for many years. Working across northern Alberta allowed him to always be on the search for that trophy moose! He loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Importantly, Roger’s travels took him through Alaska, Yukon and NWT.
Roger is predeceased by his wife Maureen and father Hubert. He is survived by his spouse Shirley-Lee Besler; family Kenny (Dana), Chantal (Brody), Kyle (Alanna), Delia, Julie (Real), Carmen (Dave), Dennis (Trina); his precious grandchildren Adam, Avery, Kaylan, Ashton, Tara, Nevaeh, Adrianana, Logan and Noah.
A cemetery service with Roger’s cremated remains will take place in 2020.
Memorial Donations in Roger’s name may be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation, as expressions of sympathy:
