Obituary of Robert Douglas Wright
Robert Douglas Wright, 83 of Nicholasville passed away December 22, 2019 in Kings Regional Rehabilitaton Centre. Born in Greenland, Annapolis County; he was the son of the late George and Della (Mailing) Wright.
Robert’s career was spent as a Licensed Mechanic, he enjoyed carpentry and was a jack of all trades. He had appreciated the time his spent with his loving family and the time he spent relaxing to music.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby Wright (Nauss), Aylesford; sons Shane (Kim) Wright, Centreville; DeWayne (Darlene) Wright, Upper Clements; Robin Wright, Clementsport; Robert Wright, Deep Brook; daughters, Kim Keen (James),Upper Clements; Tanya Wright (Miles), Bear River; Pattina Wright, Moschelle; Denita Wright, Alberta and Patricia MacDonald, the mother of his children, step-children, Brian (Jeanette) Nauss, Alberta and Laurie (Jeff) Glennie, Burlinton, ON; 11 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Richardson, Berwick; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother Frank Wright and sister-in-law Maudie (Parker) Wright; Patricia MacDonald, the mother of his children.
A Service will be held at a later date for family only. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Berwick Funeral Chapel, 192 Commercial Street, Berwick, NS, B0P 1E0 (902-538-9900).
