It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Walter announces his passing on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at the age of 69 years.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Janice; children: Allison, Jaye (Angela) and Robin; grandchildren: Jasper, Phoenix, Logan and Jaxon; sisters: Alice (Peter) and Madeline; brothers-in-law, Rob (Lori), Mark (Loretta) as well as extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Connelly-McKinley, St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert Funeral Home. It will be an open house style afternoon with a short formal portion at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Richard’s name to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Foyer Lacombe and Cross Cancer Institute for their kindness and compassion they showed to Richard.
