Richard Neil “Ricky” Van Ihinger
August 23, 1962 – December 1, 2019
Born in Lindsay Ontario, passed away suddenly on December 1, 2019, in Picton at the age of 57. Ricky worked for many years in Toronto and in the County in the construction field and took great pride in his work. Loved father of Kasey. Richard is predeceased by his parents Sandra and Roger Van Ihinger. Survived by brother David and his wife Ann, of Picton and sister Michele and her husband Mike Parker, of Alliston. Lovingly remembered by his nieces Vanessa, Hayley, Christine and Sarah and by his many aunts and uncles. He will be sadly missed Shannon Hall & Ryan Blakely and their children, Charlotte Hotston, Bonnie Harvey-Hanna, and by many more dear friends. Rick will be remembered for his sense of humor and the relationships he held most dear. Ricky’s wish was to be cremated and for his family and friends to celebrate his life. Date of gathering will be announced in the new year. If desired, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Whattam Funeral Home, Picton.
