In Loving Memory of Richard Kangas
77 years
Peacefully, Tuesday, December 24th, 2019 at Health Sciences North, with loving family at his side.
Beloved husband of Leila Kangas (nee Latvala) predeceased 1995. Loving father of Andrea Kangas (Scott Pettapiece) and Shannon Kangas. Sadly missed by his constant canine companion, Pentti. Dear son of Frank and Siiri Kangas both predeceased. Dear brother of Roger Kangas predeceased. Sadly missed by his nieces and the Latvala family.
At Richard’s request, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to HSN Cardiac Unit or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. For donations and messages of condolence, www.lougheed.org.
