November 28, 1936 – December 10, 2019
Peacefully in his 84th year, René passed away at home surrounded by his caring family. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Carmella, his siblings Fern, Lucille and Alice and son in law Ernest Boudreau. René will be deeply missed by his daughters Paulette Boudreau (Roger Gagnon), Denise Adam (Marcel) and Susan Duguay (Jeff Rattle). Devoted pépère to Jake (Paula), Lacey (Radek), Jesse (Lexie), Ross (Danielle) and great grandchildren Harvey and Eleanor. René will also be missed by Louise and his many nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Special thanks to the LHIN and VON nurses Leslie and Linda for their care and support.
Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Avenue on Friday December 13th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse Notre-Dame Du Perpétuel Secours (132 Blake St.) on Saturday December 14th at 10am. Cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be appreciated by the family.
