BAUER, Raymond (Retired Ontario Hydro and a proud member of the Frankford Lion’s Club for over 50 years) passed away peacefully on December 7th, 2019 at Stirling Manor in his 91st year. Son of the late John and Gisella Bauer of Vancouver Island B.C. He leaves behind, Laurraine his loving wife and companion of 63 years. He was the proud father of Wayne Bauer (Nancy), Janet VanVolkenburg (Dale) and Brenda Cockins (late Art) and equally proud of his eight grandchildren. David Bauer (Aleisha), Dane Bauer (Diana), Rachel Whiteside (Dan) Brys Bauer (Caitlin), Amy deWal (Josh), Justin VanVolkenburg (Shannon), Jarrod VanVolkenburg and Leslie Cockins. He was also the proud grandpa of 9 great grandchildren. Ray was predeceased by his sisters Mary (late Felix), Helen (late Les), Eva (late Ab), Rose (late Art and late Lorne), Loretta (late Jack), Isobel (late Bob), Doreen (late Larry) and his brother John (Joan). He is survived by his sisters Yvonne Pearson (late Mike) and June Humphrey (Mel) and brothers Frank Bauer (Donna), Jim Bauer (Bev) and Wayne Bauer (Linda) as well as many nieces and nephews he loved very much. In keeping with his wish’s cremation has taken place and a memorial service and celebration of life will take place in the New Year. Time and place will be announced later.
