Phyllis Mae Hobbs December 27th 2019

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved Mother, Grandmother and “Old Nanny” Phyllis Mae Hobbs who passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor on December 27th, 2019 surrounded by her family.
Phyllis had a love for baking, she spent many hours in the kitchen. Many would gather at the family home in Elliston for a taste of her prepared meals, cakes and cookies. She had a real sweet tooth.
Phyllis is predeceased by her husband, Karl Hobbs of Elliston, NL. Left with loving memories are three sons; Larry (Pam), Floyd (Bonnie) and Brian (Kyla). Two daughters; June (Ross) and Joan (Paul).
Grandchildren; Wayne (Robyn), Travis (Megan), Rodney (Diana), Steven (Nicki), Matthew (Melissa), Terri-Lynn (Dan), Kayla (Jonathan), Paityn (John), Kelton, Logan, Lee (Tamara), Stacey (Craig) and Tiffany (Trevor).
Great- Grandchildren; Brooklyn, Kinley, Ethan, Brody, Blake, Amber, Joshua, Cyrus, Aylin, Preston, Rhett, Carter, Piper and Sawyer.
Also left with many memories are nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends and family.
Special love and gratitude are extended to her caregivers, both past and present. Your care and compassion has been second to none.
Family and friends, please join us for the celebration of the life of Phyllis at the Elliston United Church on December 30th at 2:00 PM. An interment of ashes ceremony will take place at a later date.
