Peter Wendell Kelly 1952 2019

Obituary of Peter Wendell Kelly
With heavy hearts, the family of Peter Kelly, loving husband of Joanne (White) Kelly, announce his passing on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born May 3, 1952 in Saint John, he was a son of the late George F. and Doreen M. (Parks) Kelly.
Peter first worked in electrical with H. M. Hopper, before retiring into his “second career” at the Atlantic Superstore in Millidgeville. He was a caring husband and will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to Joanne, Peter is survived by his sister, Jody Kelly; nephew, James Stokes (Jen); niece, Kelly Prior; and brother-in-law, Ken White. He was predeceased by his parents.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Chris O’Brien, for his years of care and compassion; the medical staff of the Acute Care Department of the ER, for their care and concern; and to the wonderful nurses in Palliative Care who have truly discovered their true calling.
Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Cremation has taken place. In accordance with Peter’s wishes, his family will celebrate his life with a Mass of Christian Burial at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances to the Saint John SPCA- Animal Rescue would be appreciated by the family. Please place online condolences and remembrances at www.BrenansFH.com.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Peter
