Dad held several jobs throughout his work life including Alberta Hydro, Nelson River Construction, Quinton’s, Eaton’s and Winnipeg Transit where he retired from in 1993 with the distinction of being named “Driver of the Month” on a couple of occasions. He was a dedicated and loyal employee and instilled these values in all of us.
Dad volunteered his time and bookkeeping expertise to the church to ensure that their “books” were always in good standing, a job that he thoroughly enjoyed. Peter loved to travel and planned yearly family excursions. Once retired, Peter and Betty spent as much time as they could at their favourite place in Florida.

When dad was told he was not well he remained positive even when the news was discouraging.
