Obituary
MURRAY, Pearl K. – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday December 13, 2019 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Alexander “Alex” C. Murray (2002). Loving mother of Glen (Linda) Murray, Wayne Murray, Cheryl (Scott) Acomb, Ken Murray, Allan (Charlene) Murray and Tom (Tami) Murray. Cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Loved sister of Clarence Walters, Lorne Walters, late Robert “Bob” (Mary) Walters and sister-in-law of Joyce , Anne (Don), Harvey (Marilyn) and Jim (Lenore). Pearl was a long time member of Knox Presbyterian Church, Woodstock, a past member of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55, Woodstock, retired from being a City of Woodstock bus driver for over 20 years and was involved for many years in flea markets in Woodstock and S.W. Ontario. Friends are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Wednesday December 18, 2019 from 2-4 pm, and 6-8pm, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark McLennan officiating. Interment in the North Embro Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society Oxford County would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com
