Obituary
Peacefully with love and family by his side at Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in his 58th year. Paul, beloved husband of Maureen (née DeMeyer). Loving father of sons Mark Czuczman and his fiancée Emily Ballantyne, Kevin Czuczman and his partner Marija Rapaic, and Luke Czuczman. Dear brother of Barbara and her husband Fred Abbott, Mary and her husband Tony Hietkamp, and David and his wife Jill. Dear son-in-law of Norman and Solange DeMeyer. Predeceased by his parents Gerard and Siobhan (née O’Donnell). Paul will be missed by his family, many close friends, community, and dear parrot Riley.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin, 519-832-2222. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 at 11 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 920 Wellington Street, Port Elgin. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Jumpstart, a program ensuring kids in need have equal access to sports, would be greatly appreciated by the family.

  2. So very sorry for your loss Maureen.. I went to Montcalm with Paul and I have fond memories to hold onto.. he sang “She’s so cold” by the Stones in Grade 12-13 at an assembly and it was awesome.. he really brought many students together with his humour and wit. He will be missed by many.

    So very sorry for you huge loss of dear Paul. may he Rest In Peace ,,, reunited now with Siobhan and Gerard..
    Paul, my first cousin, was a great guy, I met him when I visited the family in Irving place, in London….in the 1980’s….wonderful sense of fun,,,,and always smiling is how I will remember him…. I hope he didn’t suffer too much…
