Obituary for
Pastor Raymond Mitchell
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Pastor Raymond Cyril Mitchell announces his passing. Raymond slipped into the presence of the Lord at the Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 at the age of 74 years.
Raymond is predeceased by his wife – Bertha Mitchell (2018); parents – Francis and Margaret Mitchell; parents-in-law – Frederick and Annie Eastman and siblings – Ivy Claire Mitchell, Bon Mitchell (Jean), Dorothy Noble, Pastor Harvey Mitchell (Vera), Donald Noble, Herbert Janes and Alfreda Mitchell.
Left with many fond and loving memories are his children – Wavey Noseworthy (Shawn), Marilyn Rideout (John), Glenn Mitchell (Michelle); grandchildren – Sandy (Claudine), Quincy, Kyle (Sierra), Tyler, Andrew, Jasmine, Adam, Darla (Brad), Bonita (Gavin), Erin and Madison; great-grandchildren – Ava, Sandi-Rose, Emma, Lincon, Gia-Rae and Addison; siblings – Arthur Mitchell (Audrey), Effie Noble (Fred), Lottie Janes, Jessie Thomas (Scott) and Kay Noble; brother-in-law – Harold Eastman (Joyce) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and friends.
Public Visitation and Funeral Service will take place at Bayview Pentecostal Tabernacle, Middle Arm, NL. Additional Funeral Arrangement details will be announced as they become available.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Pastor Mitchell’s memory to The Gideon’s International, 501 Imperial Rd N, Guelph, ON N1H 6T9.
