In loving memory of Mr. Omer Ducharme who passed away peacefully, at Englehart & District Hospital, on Sunday, December 01, 2019 at the age of 81.
Omer worked for many years at the Earlton airport. He enjoyed playing his guitar, had a good sense of humour (Joker), gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus.
Pre-deceased by his parents Cleo Ducharme and Florence Regimbald, brothers Gerald, Paul, Roger, Claude, Leopold, Albert, sister Rita and son-in-law “David”.
He is survived by his lovely wife of 60 years Florence (Gervais), daughters Nicole (Joe Holeska), Francine (Marc Loranger), Ginette, Carmen (Gaston Gauthier), Monique (Murray Longlade), Linda (Donald Savard), Claire and son Jacques (Shirley Belanger). He will also be missed by his 20 beautiful grandchildren who he loved dearly: Jason, Justin, Cassandra, Pascale, Stephanie, Martine, Jasmin, Dominic, Amelie, Felix, Angele, Jolyane, Myriane, Michelle, Jeremie, Karine, Amy, Caylan, Chad, Keegan and 36 great grandchildren. Also his sisters Odette, Yvette, Margot and Jeannine.
The family of the late Mr. Omer Ducharme will receive friends at the St. Jean Baptiste Parish Hall in Earlton t, Friday December 6, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church on Saturday, December 7 at 11:00 am. Spring interment at the Armstrong Cemetery. In memory contributions to charity of your choice will be greatly appreciated. Condolences, contributions and memorial candles may be left at www.mcdonaldfuneralhome.ca.
