Obituary of Neil Alfred Farrell
After a valiant battle with cancer, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec at the age of 65 years. Loving father of Dawn and Bert. Cherished Poppa of Jacob, Xander and Bentley. Predeceased by his parents, Red and Beth Farrell. Survived by his siblings, Ken “Sam” (Judy), Darlene (Jack Murdock) and Barb (Dwight Tanguay). Neil will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Neil was a very active community member who served as union president at Haley Industries. He was also involved council, the RA, the cemetery, and Fire Department. He was also active in his local church, where he served as church warden. A celebration of his life will take place in summer, 2020. Donations to the Portage du Fort Cemetery are gratefully accepted.
