Melina M. LeBlanc
Melina M. LeBlanc, 97, of
Villa Providence, Shediac and formerly of Moncton, passed away
peacefully at her residence on Sunday, December 8,
2019.
Born in Memramcook, she was
the daughter of the late Julien and Jeanne (LeBlanc)
LeBlanc.
Melina enjoyed bowling,
knitting, playing cards, music, dancing and time spent with her
family.
Melina will be sadly missed by
her daughters, Ida LeBlanc and Jeannette LeBlanc; sons, Armand LeBlanc
(Charline), Gerald LeBlanc (Julienne) and George LeBlanc;
grandchildren, Karri Anne, Christopher, Mathieu, André,
Brian, Diane, Chantal, Marie Lynn, Rémi, Josée
and Justin; seven great grandchildren and sister, Zita LeBlanc, as
well as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to her parents,
she was predeceased by her husband, Alverie LeBlanc (1993); son,
Normand; sisters, Evangeline, Sophie, Dorilla, Dométhile,
Osithe, Marie, Emma, Bella and Marguerite; brothers, Auguste and
Georges.
Resting at Fergusons Funeral
Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday from 7:00 to
9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour Melina’s life
will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December
12, 2019 at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Allison Carroll presiding. Reception in
the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment
will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in the
spring.
In memory of Melina, donations
to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Online
