MARTIN (nee Flood): Marjorie Mary
1921 – 2019
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Marjorie at Eastholme, on Thursday December 19, 2019, the beloved wife of the late Edward Joseph Martin, she was 98 years old. Loving mother of Shirley Longo (Joseph) of Stouffville, Edward Jr. (MaryLou) of Barrie and Linda Wilkinson (Les) of Callander. She was the cherished grandmother of Greg Harper (Abby), Ed Martin III (Kaye), Robert Martin (Christine), Tom Wilkinson (Kim), Michael Wilkinson (Carrie), Jeff Wilkinson (Terri) and lovingly remembered by her 11 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Joanne Longo. Dearly loved sister of the late Earl, Irene, Clara (Fenton), Edith (Albert), Alfred, Lila (Les), Eileen, Lawrence, Donald (Maizie) and Vera. She will be remembered by her god daughter Kelly Flood and by her fitness friends from Young at Heart, at the Golden Age Centre on Worthington. Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Monday, December 23rd from 11:00 am until time for the Funeral Service in the Martyn Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. If desired, donations to Packsac Smiles or the Joanne Longo Scholarship Fund (WFSS) would be appreciated by Marjorie’s family. Marjorie’s family would like to thank Dr. Ng and the Nurses and Staff at Eastholme for the wonderful care and love they all gave her.
