Marion’s Obituary
Grant, Marion Isabelle – 92, of Middleton, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton, NS. Born in Windsor, NS, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Nellie (Bacon) Armstrong. Marion retired from the housekeeping department at Soldiers Memorial Hospital after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marion is survived by her loving husband, Donald; sons Robert, Middleton; David, Windsor, NS; Gerald (Laura), Nictaux; grandchildren Stephen and Amanda; great grandchildren Luke and Brea; sister Pauline Conrad, Berwick. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Kenneth; brothers Ray, Clarence, and William “Bill”; sisters Helen Davison and Geraldine Parsons. In keeping with Marion’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at a later date in the Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., 902-825-3448.
