Velicevic, Marija “Mary”
Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, December
16,2019 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. In her 81st year, Mary
Velicevic (nee Sneler), beloved Wife of Alojz Velicevic, loving mother
of Rosalie (Roger Bilodeau), cherished stara mama of Gabbie and Andre.
Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, both in Canada and
Slovenia. Predeceased by her brother Mary was employed at T.R.W. for
many years. She loved to garden and to cook for family and friends.
She was faithful and active in her church. Visitation will be held at
Patrick J.Darte Funeral Chapel, 39 Court St., St.Catharines
(905-685-6584) on Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to
9pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on December 22,
2019 at 8:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the
Assumption, 169 St. Paul Cres., St. Catharines ( 905-682-3843) on
Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11am. Rite of Committal to follow at
Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to St. Mary of the
Assumption or I.C.U. at St. Catharines General Hospital would be
appreciated.
