Marie E. Hearn (Smith) passed away with her family at her side at Stratford General Hospital on December 8, 2019 in her 84th year.
Loving wife of Victor R. Hearn, married for 63 years. Beloved mother of Stephen Hearn (Pat) of St. Marys, Patricia Webb of St. Marys, Nancy Donati (Tom) of St. Marys and Susan Roeterink (Dave) of Mississauga. Proud grandmother of Alex (Melinda), Erin (Dan), David, Katie (Nick), Adam, Rebecca, Mike, Nick, Christina, and Stacey and also survived by four great-grandchildren. Sister of Myrland Clark (Robert), Rosemary Cutting (John) and predeceased by Lloyd Smith and Rhea Gough.
Marie was a dedicated member of the McConnell Club, Daughters of the Nile and Order of the Eastern Star.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH, 85 Church St. South, St. Marys, on Sunday, December 15, from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m., Daughters of the Nile service at 6:30 p.m. The Memorial Service will be conducted at the ST. MARYS UNITED CHURCH on Monday December 16, 2019 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private family interment in St. Marys Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys United Church or the St. Marys Healthcare Foundation.
