Obituary for Margit Csiki (Haynes)
It is with deep sadness that the family of Margit Csiki announce her passing on October 14, 2019. Margit, age 68, passed away peacefully after a long and valiant fight with dementia. She was the devoted and loving mother of Klaudia and Kristina Haynes and will be eternally missed by them. Her spirit and soul will live on through her children. Margit leaves a void in the hearts of dedicated family in England: Pauline (David, Richard, Lydia) Clifton and Melanie (Robin Hope) Haynes. Margit is survived by her mother, Christina Stadnyszyn. We will be forever grateful to Team Margit (Alba DiCenso, Maureen Montemuro, JoAnne Haynes, Donna Ciliska, Jane Krilyk, Joan Royle, Leslea Anderson, Helen Thomas and Margaret Black) for the compassion, dedication and care they showed Margit over the years. You brought light to Margit’s life at the most challenging times and gave her so much to smile about and her smile could light up a room. Margit always believed that angels were present in her life – thank you Team Margit for being those angels. A deep and heartfelt thanks to Rosemarie Delgado and her family for their endless support for both Margit and her family. Your genuine caring and acts of kindness will be forever cherished. Thank you to all the staff at St. Joseph’s Villa Adult Day Program, especially Melissa Folk and to others who showed love and understanding to Margit, particularly Christina Kumalo, Rachel McCallum, Nora Furmann, Rachel Nolan, Renee Turcotte, Sandy Sullivan and Nancy Rust. Finally thank you to the staff at Wentworth Lodge for their constant efforts to give Margit the best care, particularly over the last part of her journey. Margit is predeceased by her former husband, Anthony (Tony) Haynes and her father, Emmerich Csiki. Margit lived a very full life because she laughed often, lived well and loved always. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wentworth Lodge would be appreciated.
