Price, Linda Anne RN (née Lubitz) – Passed away peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre – KGH on December 25, 2019 at the age of 73. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband Jack Baker of Bath Ontario. Devoted mother of Tara Price (Shawn), Sean Price (Kim) and Ryan Price (Natalie). Sadly missed by her four grandchildren. Beloved sister of Mary Clair (Sean) and Barbara Bertrand (Ab). Predeceased by her parents Otto and Agnes Lubitz (née Stencell) and her sister Nancy Whyte. Mom worked on Ward 15 at the Kingston Psychiatric Hospital, Extendicare and in community mental health. She also went into psychogeriatric nursing after being in the community. She loved working with the mentally ill patients as she felt she made a difference. Towards the end of her career she worked in several clinics, ECT for example. An excellent Nurse and Manager, Linda was well respected by the staff she worked with and the patients and families she helped. A service will be held in Pembroke at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations made in Linda’s memory to Martha’s Table Community Program or the Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
