The death of Leota Jane Mountan of New England Settlement occurred
Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 at the Chalmers Regional Hospital,
Fredericton.
Born at Newcastle Bridge, NB, she was the daughter of the late Eldon
and Ada (Betts) Dykeman.
Leota is surived by her husband Stephen Mountan; her son, Adam Mountan
of Chipman; her daughters, Stella Dykeman (Kirk) of Minto and Amanda
Robinson (Alvin) of Nova Scotia; daughters-in-law, Vanessa Mountan and
Nicole LeBlanc both of Minto; her grandchildren, Trevis, Cody,
Makirshta, Rahab, Naomi, Rachel, Griffin, Olivia, Sebastian Abigail
and Lilly; sisters, Ethel Milberry of Minto, Barbara Walsh (Arnold) of
Midland and Linda Sabian (Wayne) of Minto; brothers, Walter Dykeman
(Eileen) of Minto and Albert Dykeman (Joanne) of Saint John as well as
numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Terrence (Rocky); sisters, Bernice
McNeill, Teeny Maston, Doreen Young and by brothers, Jimmy, Norman,
Edgar and Harold.
Resting at Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services (10 King Street,
Minto, NB) with visitation will be held Saturday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm
and from where funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Sunday,
December 15th, 2019 in the Minto Community Chapel. Interment will
follow in the Full Gospel Cemetery, Minto. If so desired, donations
made to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the
family.
