AGNEW LEO M.
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Leo Agnew of Cobden, on Friday December 27, 2019 in his 92nd year. Leo Agnew beloved husband of Mary Agnew nee Beaulieu. Dear father of Gerard (Margaret) Agnew, Kevin (Nancy) Agnew, Anne Agnew, Kathleen Sterling and Mark (Josie) Agnew. Also survived by 8 grandsons Matthew (Rana), Justin (Tara), Ryan (Tracy), Michael, Steven (Sarah), Jason (Angela), Sam, John, and 5 great-grandchildren Sienna, Layla, Hunter, Jack, Lillian, 1 brother Basil (Barbara) Agnew, and 1 sister-in-law Anita Agnew. Predeceased by son-in-law Lennox Sterling, sister Clare (Len Gervais), brothers Gerald (Georgina) Agnew and Urban Agnew. Friends may call at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home Cobden, on Wednesday January 1, 2020 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9pm. Thursday from 9:30 until 10:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church Douglas on Thursday January 2, 2020 at 11am. Spring interment St. Michael’s Cemetery Douglas. As expressions of sympathy donations to Hospice Renfrew, would be greatly appreciated.
