Laurens Simon Beukema ~ of Harriston, on Monday, November 11, 2019, in his 93rd year.
Husband of the late Audrey (vander Reijden) Beukema.
Father of Bob and Louise Beukema of Orangeville, Bill Beukema of Harriston, and Betty and John Murphy of Mount Forest.
Grandfather of Chico and Sandra Beukema, Amanda and Dave Hall, Curtis and Angie Murphy, Christa Murphy and Darryl Jones, Dianna Beukema, and Tyler Beukema, and great-grandfather of C.J., Cayden, Abby, Lauren, and Caleb.
Brother of Elske Van Leeuwen of Netherlands, and brother-in-law of Mary Beukema of Burlington.
Predeceased by his brother Simon Beukema, and brother-in-law Herman Van Leeuwen.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Legion Memorial Service at 6:45 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Friday, November 15th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow at Harriston Legion.
Interment at Harriston Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Harriston Legion Branch 296 (Poppy Fund) would be appreciated.
