Peacefully with family by her side, Mom was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour.
Survived by her husband Leendert of 63 years, children Arnold (Leslie), Geraldine (Clarence), Pete (Darlene), Gary (Denise), Nancy (Dwight), Wayne (Tonia). Grandma was blessed with 17 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters Wilma (Bill) Devos and Cathy Kramer.
Mom’s roots began in St.Vital, the youngest of 11 children. Her younger working years included being a nurse’s aide and a messenger for the CPR which kept her busy until she met and married Dad and then they began their family life. Her passion was for her family and her faith in Christ which she modelled well. Mom will lovingly be remembered for remaining loyal, faithful and committed to God and her family.
Mom’s celebration of life will be held at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Avenue on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 11 am.
The family will have a private interment.
