Memorial Donation
We regret to announce the death Kevin MacDonald of Edmonton formerly of Troy who passed away of on November 12, 2019, at the age of 58 years. Kevin is survived by his sisters, Clare MacFarlane, Mary MacDonald and Florence MacDonald; brothers Terry MacDonald, Bernie MacDonald and nephew, Brandon MacFarlane. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ann MacDonald. Kevin was a member of the pipefitters union in Edmonton where he was employed as a welder in the Oil Field Business. Kevin will be sadly missed his siblings, his many cousins and friends. He was former team member of the Strait Pirates and a avid NHL hockey fan, the Montreal Canadians being his dream team. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Wednesday Dec. 4th in the Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Creignish from 10 am till 11am at which time there will be a Celebration Mass of Christian Burial with Father Allen MacMillan officiating. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
