Obituary of Kate Martin (McTurk)
Passed away peacefully at the Helen Henderson Care Centre on Sunday, December 29, 2019, in her 95th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband John Martin, her son David Martin and grandchildren Candace and Stephen McCheyne. Loving mother of John Martin Jr. (Patricia) of Port Perry and Nancy McCheyne (Stephen) of Bath. Cherished grandmother of Ian Martin (Lisa) and great grandmother of Payton and Pierson Martin and Reegan and Roslyn McCheyne. Survived by her sisters Nancy Gray and Jessie Hocknull and predeceased by her sisters Jean and Muriel and by her brothers Andy, Allistar and James. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Cremation has taken place. A Family Graveside Service will be held at Bath United Church Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Calvin Connor and all the staff at Helen Henderson Care Centre for the exceptional care Kate received. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Mental Health Association will be remembered with appreciation by the family.
