June Y.’s Obituary
June Yvonne Jackson was a long time resident of both Manning (AB) and Invermere (BC). She was born in Grande Prairie (AB) on July 5, 1925.
June enjoyed time with friends while playing bridge, curling as well as golfing. She travelled many places and spent a few winters in Arizona. She was crafty (in more than one way!) and did enjoy knitting and needlepoint.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Louis Albert Jackson (1975) and great-grandson Carter Dillion Dechant (2019). She is survived by her sons Ron (Shelly), Don (Janice), Robert (Lori), Les (Marianne); daughters Margaret (Ron), Betty Mae (David); sisters Mae Papp, Audrey Clark; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A Private Celebration of Life will take place with June’s family.
If desired, donations may be made to Manning Community Health Care Centre Long Term Care and/or Palliative Care, or, to the Del-Air Resident Association.
