Obituary of Joyce Brunette
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 14, 2019 with her loving husband by her side at the Port Colborne General Hospital at the age of 69.
Loving wife for 46 years to Grant, “mom” to baby girl Precious and much loved “Momma” and “Mudder” to Christina (Dan) Desrochers and Natasha (Daryl) Weaving. Adored Grandma to Bradley, Brandon and Blake Desrochers and Cloey and D.J. Weaving. She will be missed by her brothers Richard (Betty) and Yvon (Darlene) Turmel, sister Susan (Jim) Brown, brother in law Jeff Brunette, sister in law Heather (Rico) Anthes and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Jeannine Turmel, brothers in law Bryant and Shawn Brunette and mother in law Rita Brunette.
Joyce was known for her kind heart and loved everyone she met.
The family extends many thanks to Dr. Scher, and the nursing staff, kitchen staff and cleaning staff at the Port Colborne Hospital for their care and compassion.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2019 at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Walton officiating.
If so desired, memorial donations may be made to Wellspring Niagara.
