Joseph Alexander (Alex) Beaton

Alex was born in Claremont, Ont., to Scottish immigrants William and Agnes Beaton. Siblings were Katie, Dolly, Sheila, Clyde, and Nora. Alex is survived by sister Sheila and brother Clyde (Joan) Beaton.
Alex married Mary Fay Flynn on October 11, 1952. Employed by General Motors of Canada in Oshawa, he quickly moved up in the Service Engineering department. Promotions saw the family move to Ottawa, Regina, Calgary and the Toronto area…
