PARENT, John – Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Saturday, December 21st, 2019 in his 78th year. John Parent of Petawawa, beloved husband of Dianne Parent (nee Walters). Loving father of Debbie (Tom) Boncheff of Toronto, Penny Cussen of Georgetown. Step-father of Kim Reed of Barrie and Mark Charbonneau of Nova Scotia. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Tony (Joanne), Archie (Debbie), Susan (Mike) Thompson, Pierrette (Chris) Plant and Lynn (Guy) Levesque, numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Antoine Joseph and Bertha Parent (nee Michaud), by son Kirby, by brothers Sev (Marilyn), Emery (Gail), Huey and Conrad, and by sister Gaye Rose.
