It is with sadness that we announce the death on December 20, 2019 of John Merrigan Hogan, in his 85th year at Dorothy Ley Hospice, Etobicoke. Born in Haileybury, ON. Loving husband of Theresa (Campbell) for 54 years. He is survived by his son Michael (Toronto). Brothers Gerry (Inez), Angus (Francine), Brian (Janine) and many nieces & nephews.
John spent 45 years working at the “Scotia Bank”. Beginning his career in New Liskeard, ON and retiring from Scotia Bank Bay Street Offices in Toronto.
John and his wife, Theresa, worked tirelessly as advocates for the mentally handicapped on behalf of their son Michael. John enjoyed vacationing in Northern Ontario and Port Hood, Cape Breton Island – both places catered to his love of music!
After retiring, John moved from Scarborough to Mississauga with his wife Theresa. She would like to thank the Dorothy Ley Hospice for their loving, kind care of John. Rest in Peace John.
