Passed peacefully away, John Edgar Budden Sr. at the A.M. Guy Memorial Heath Centre, Buchans on Saturday December 28, 2019. He was predeceased by his parents Llewellyn & Gladys; brother Leslie Herbert Budden (Carmen); sister Marjorie Vineham. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memoires are his wife: Hilda; mother-in-law: Julia Mae King; sons: Leslie (Marie) of Stephenville, John Jr. of Buchans, Rick (Sangetta) of Grand Falls-Windsor; brother-in-law Don Vineham (Marjorie); grandchildren: Lucas (Briar), Samantha (Robert), Adam, Kayleen, Andrew (Kiana), Nathan, Stephanie, Michael; great-grandchildren: Selena, Scarlett, Pasha and by 18 brothers & sisters in-law (who to John were brothers & sisters), numerous extended family and friends, and by his best buddy of 15 years, Snowball. Family will be receiving friends at the Buchans United Church, on Sunday December 29, 2019 between the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday December 30, 2019 from 9-11 a.m. from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m.. In keeping with John’s wishes, cremation will follow with interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations in John’s memory may be made to The Buchans Community Cemetery or the Buchans United Church Memorial Fund.
