Thomson, John Cameron (“Cam The Water Man”). Died peacefully at West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville on Saturday, November 30, 2019, in his 98th year. Cam Thomson resided at Parkview Meadows, Townsend, and was formerly of Port Dover. Husband of the late Madeline (Weaver nee Hedges -2009 and the late Doris Senn -1956). Beloved father of Anne McAlpine of Caledonia, Dennis (Leo Maloney) of Port Dover, Gail (Dave) Simmons of Port Dover, Marie (George) Burke of Port Dover, the late Russell (1985), (Bette and Dave Eke) and the late Sharon (2005) (Jim -2016) Pond. Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Brother of the late Alex Thomson and Beth Edwards. Friends are invited to call at COOPER FUNERAL HOME, 19 Talbot St. W., Jarvis on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service for Cam will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Cheapside United Church Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Friends are invited to sign The Book of Memories at www.cooperfuneralhome.ca

  1. I am sorry for your loss of Cam and previously of Madeline, your parents and grandparents.
    Cam and Madeline and their family were wonderful neighbours to us when we lived in Nanticoke.
